Version: 1.0 · Effective: August 12, 2026 · Last updated: August 12, 2026
You should always be able to find out exactly who you are buying from and how to reach a real person. Here is everything you need.
1. Who we are
Legal entity: 1001064988 Ontario Inc., a corporation incorporated in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
GST/HST registration number: 736444027 RT0001 Operating name: Tagnook (also written "Tagnook", "we", "us", "our" throughout our policies). Website: tagnook.com Where we sell: Canada only. All prices, refunds, store credit and reward credit are in Canadian dollars (CAD). You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority in your province or territory if it is higher, to hold an account or place an order.
2. How to reach us
- support@tagnook.com — orders, order changes, shipping, returns and refunds, product questions, recovery tags, account help, accessibility, and privacy requests.
- sales@tagnook.com — schools, daycares, camps, sports teams, clubs, and wholesale or bulk orders.
- 1 (613) 262-8136 — by telephone, during the business hours in section 3.
Email is our main channel and usually the fastest way to get a real answer, and it leaves both of us a written record. You are welcome to call instead if you would rather speak to someone. If you are not sure which address to use, send it to support@tagnook.com and we will make sure it reaches the right person. Email is also how we reach you: order updates, recovery notifications and our replies all arrive by email. We do not send SMS or text messages.
3. When you will hear back
We answer email within 1 business day. Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, excluding Ontario statutory holidays. Messages that arrive evenings, weekends, or holidays are answered the next business day. During back-to-school season replies can take a little longer, and we will tell you if that happens rather than leave you waiting.
4. Business particulars
Registered business address: 226 Kinloch Court, Nepean, Ontario K2J 5S9, Canada Telephone: 1 (613) 262-8136 We provide them to any customer, regulator, payment provider or rights holder who asks, and we do not ask why you want them.
5. Privacy requests
Requests about your personal information — access, correction, deletion, withdrawing consent, portability, or a complaint — should be addressed to:
- The Privacy Officer, Tagnook
- support@tagnook.com (please put "Privacy request" in the subject line)
The Privacy Officer is a role at Tagnook, not a mailbox we forget about. How we handle these requests, and the time limits that apply, are set out in our Privacy policy.
6. Accessibility
If any part of our website, checkout, emails, or labels is hard for you to use, please tell us at support@tagnook.com. We will respond within 1 business day, work with you to complete your order or request another way, and provide our policies, order details, and other information in an accessible format on request, at no extra cost. Feedback about accessibility is welcome and we act on it.
7. Reporting misuse or a safety concern
Almost every message sent through a Tagnook tag is someone kind trying to return a lost water bottle. If yours is not — a threat, harassment, a demand for payment to return an item, a scam or phishing attempt, or anything else that feels wrong — report it and we will act:
- support@tagnook.com, subject line "Report". Include the tag code or order number if you have it. These go to the front of the queue.
- We can block a sender, suspend return access on a tag, retain and disclose the relevant messages for safety and lawful requests, and report the matter to police.
- Suspected child sexual abuse material is reported to law enforcement and to Cybertip.ca, as Canadian law requires. If a child is missing or in immediate danger, call 911 first.
8. Our other policies
- Privacy policy
- Terms of service
- Refund, Return & Reprint Policy
- Shipping & Delivery Policy
- Recovery & Reward Program Terms
- Children's Privacy & Consent
9. Governing law and your consumer rights
Our agreements with you are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute may be brought in the courts of Toronto, Ontario. Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing proceedings in the courts of the province or territory where you live. If you live in Québec, you may bring proceedings in Québec, and nothing here waives any right you have to participate in a class action or any right you have under Québec's Consumer Protection Act.
Nothing on this page or in any of our policies takes away rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the province or territory where you live — including Québec's Consumer Protection Act. Where those laws give you more than we promise here, those laws win.
